As part of its work on AHWIN and the Africa Health and Wellbeing Initiative (AfHWIN), the Office of Healthcare Policy in Japan’s Cabinet Secretariat published a booklet titled “Nursing Care in Japan” to explain and help people better understand Japanese-style nursing care.
Japanese-style nursing care is based on the values and concepts of “Preservation of dignity” and “Support for self-reliance.” The booklet includes examples and describes how Japan supports people who need care through the community-based integrated care system.
