Office of Healthcare Policy Publishes Introduction to Nursing Care in Japan

Office of Healthcare Policy, Cabinet Secretariat, Government of Japan

As part of its work on AHWIN and the Africa Health and Wellbeing Initiative (AfHWIN), the Office of Healthcare Policy in Japan’s Cabinet Secretariat published a booklet titled “Nursing Care in Japan” to explain and help people better understand Japanese-style nursing care.

Japanese-style nursing care is based on the values and concepts of “Preservation of dignity” and “Support for self-reliance.” The booklet includes examples and describes how Japan supports people who need care through the community-based integrated care system. Learn more on the Cabinet Secretariat website or download the report below.
