Bangkok, Thailand

Ahead of the launch of the 5th Round of the Healthy Aging Prize for Asian Innovation, JCIE and ERIA co-hosted a special launch event on the sidelines of the Prince Mahidol Award Conference (PMAC).  The event featured a unique opportunity to hear from Grand Prize Winner Edren M. Llanillo, whose intergenerational Go Bike project mobilizes Filipino youth to provide health monitoring and disaster preparedness training to older adults in their communities. He was joined by representatives from JCIE and ERIA as organizers of HAPI, who provided information on the award program, its goals, and the application and selection process. Mr. Llanillo also shared some of his thoughts on how receiving the award has benefited his organization, providing validation for their work and opportunities to scale up and expand the reach of their innovative program.

Following the event, the 5th round of HAPI opened for applications. Learn more about how to apply here.
